"The exhibition Architectures of Destruction focuses on the artistic positions of Afghan artists as well as those of other contemporary artists who have lived in the country. Ruins are the leitmotif of the exhibition; historical and architectural remains that acquire symbolic meaning over time. They then stand for something that actually no longer exists, but is deemed worthy of being remembered."
